A KEIGHLEY law firm helped hole over £2,000 for a children's hospice.

AWB Charlesworth staged a third annual golf day in aid of Martin House, at Boston Spa.

Eleven teams took part in the event, at Keighley Golf Club, held in conjunction with Pearson and Associates accountants.

The winning team was from G Clarke Landscaping.

A number of businesses donated raffle prizes or sponsored holes.

Liam O'Neill, a partner at AWB Charlesworth, said: "We're delighted that the annual golf day was another success.

"Martin House is a wonderful charity and I'm pleased we can help raise awareness and much-needed funds for it."

Tribute was paid by John Haigh, from the hospice.

He said: "The ongoing backing of Charlesworth and Pearson as organisers and the many businesses involved makes a very real difference to our ability to care for and support more than 500 Yorkshire children with life-limiting illnesses and their families."
