AN AWARD-winning Keighley baby products business has agreed a deal with a specialist lender and savings bank.

Valley Road-based Bababing! says the new finance facility, with Aldermore, will help ensure the firm can continue to grow.

Bababing! was founded ten years ago by brothers Nick, Jamie and Ashley Robinson.

It began with a single product – a changing bag – but the range has been expanded to include baby bouncers, rockers, highchairs and beanbags.

Stockists include John Lewis, Boots, Mothercare and Amazon and the goods are also sold in Ireland, Scandinavia and Canada.

Managing director, Nick Robinson, said: "When we launched the company we tasked ourselves with bringing to market inspirational, modern, practical and reasonably-priced baby products that would help parents when raising young children.

"Central to our offering is the use of modern design to update traditional baby products to meet the needs of today's parents.

"The success of the business relies not only on our dedication to innovative design but also on us having the working capital to pay our manufacturers so that we can concentrate on developing and expanding the range.

"The finance from Aldermore will provide this working capital and ensure that Bababing! continues to go from strength to strength."

John Savage, business development manager with Aldermore Invoice Finance, pays tribute to the firm.

"Bababing! is an exciting and ambitious business whose innovative products have really shaken up the market – as demonstrated by the sheer number of awards the company has won during its relatively short existence," he said.

"We're really pleased to be able to play a part in helping the company to grow further and our funding gives the team the support it needs to continue its positive trajectory."
