A KEIGHLEY company has received a boost.

Kiravans, an online Volkswagen campervan parts retailer, has been appointed a northern England distributor of Superva plywood.

The lightweight wooden sheets are popular with the campervan conversion industry, as well as enthusiasts adapting vehicles for themselves.

The Superva range is imported from Germany by Newport-based Premier Forest Products.

Kiravans director, Rob McCandless, said: "This appointment will be a great help to northern campervan convertors, as we will be able to supply single sheets or bulk quantities from a much more convenient location.

"The regular Superva range is very comprehensive and has around 30 colours. We are also stocking the appropriate knock-on edge trims, door latches and fixings as well as pre-cut table tops and legs – more or less everything people need to build campervan furniture!"

The firm has flourished since it was formed in 2005, with last year seeing a further 50 per cent increase in turnover.

It took on extra staff and opened a second distribution depot in Cornwall to serve a growing south-west market.

The company's warehouse is in Dalton Lane, Keighley.
