A KEIGHLEY law firm has raised nearly £6,000 for a children’s hospice with a series of events.
AWB Charlesworth Solicitors last year staged activities ranging from cake sales to raffles, in aid of Martin House at Boston Spa.
Staff also supported an annual dragon boat race and jointly hosted a golf day with accountants Pearson & Associates, which alone coined-in over £2,100.
John Haigh, corporate fundraiser at Martin House, said: “We were delighted to have been so substantially supported by the AWB Charlesworth team in all sorts of ways during 2016 – with a cumulative total raised of almost £5,800.
“It is not a huge law firm, but it has given massive support to Martin House families for several years and is a relationship we value very highly.”
AWB Charlesworth – which also has offices in Skipton, Bradford and Bingley – is staging another charity golf day on July 21.
