KEIGHLEY-based PFF Packaging Group has expanded its sales team.
The company – which has a manufacturing site at Airedale Park, Royd Ings Avenue – has appointed Chris Welch as key account and business development executive.
The move follows a major reorganisation earlier this year of the sales team, which saw Philip Ball become key account manager for the north and Libby Coe recruited in a similar role covering the south.
Mr Welch will support the development of accounts and new business in the growing market.
“Packaging – and its design – is playing an increasingly important role in the whole food manufacturing industry,” he said.
“The packaging will always have to satisfy certain requirements in terms of sustainability, food safety and in helping to reduce food waste.
“Design and functionality are also critical factors when it comes to making products stand out amongst their competitors.”
