FIVE people have started work as construction trainees with housing group Incommunities.
The recruits include school leaver Thomas Forde, from Riddlesden, and 24-year-old Keighley man Jordan Stephenson.
Thomas applied to the programme, to train in gas plumbing, whilst completing his A-levels.
“I was looking for a hands-on profession where I could earn and learn a skill at the same time,” he said.
“I see this as an opportunity to build an exciting career.”
Jordan, who previously worked as a stonemason, is one of three apprentice electricians.
“Incommunities looks like a great company to work for,” he said.
