A PHYSIOTHERAPIST who formerly worked at Airedale Hospital is opening a new clinic.

David Carter is staging an event next Thursday (May 10) to mark the launch of the C-Physio premises.

The Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Keighley councillor Doreen Lee, will perform the official opening ceremony at 11am.

And free drop-in sessions will run throughout the day at the clinic, in Stockhill Road, Greengates.

Mr Carter was inspired to pursue a physiotherapy business after he suffered life-threatening injuries in a car crash 14 years ago.

He needed four years of intensive treatment and rehabilitation to recover.

C-Physio was established in 2008 and over the years has gone from strength to strength.

A second clinic was opened in 2015 and the latest, refurbished premises will build on the firm's offering.

"We want to help as many people as we can," said Mr Carter.

"I know from personal experience that finding a great physio who's totally committed to helping you recover can be difficult.

"They often don't have the time or resources to give you the best – we want to change that."
