A HOUSEBUILDER with a scheme in Keighley is backing a campaign aimed at attracting more recruits into the industry.
Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, which is constructing a development at Occupation Lane, has signed-up to the Home Builders Skills Partnership 'Attract' initiative.
The three-month advertising and social media campaign aims to show young people and those seeking a career change the range of job opportunities available.
Wayne Gradwell, managing director of Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, said: "The Government estimates that the UK needs to build 300,000 new homes every year to keep up with demand and there are many ways to contribute to that target.
"We have career opportunities at all levels in our land and planning, construction, sales, finance and technical teams.
"The company provides superb training and development programmes, enabling us to recognise talent and achievement, with people being promoted from within wherever possible."
