Pupils at Eastburn Junior & Infant School produced eggs-traordinary creations.
Youngsters took part in a house competition to decorate hard-boiled eggs as characters and then place them in settings.
“The children put lots of effort into it and we had some impressive creations – it was very difficult to judge the entries,” said head teacher Jan Elliott.
“All those who took part received prizes of chocolate eggs.”
The school also staged an Easter Eggs-travaganza last Thursday.
The after-school event featured a range of attractions, including a themed tombola, cake stall and crafts, and there was a Mad Hatter competition.
