Professional footballer Tom Lee has returned to his old stomping ground.
The Chesterfield FC goalkeeper went back to Oak-bank School, where he was a pupil, to speak at a prize-giving evening.
“He shared some of his amazing experiences with us and it was very motivational,” said Hannah Borkala, the school’s marketing and event officer.
“It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity for our students to celebrate with friends and family.
“We would like to say a big thank-you to all our prize sponsors, governors, parents, staff, Tom and, of course, our wonderful students for making the evening so special.”
Outstanding performers included Shannon Dobson from year 12 and Frankie Barr from year 13, who both received three awards.
Mr Lee was presented with artwork by student Amy Berry.
