Keighley children hit the target with outdoor lessons aimed at helping their classroom studies.
Parkwood Primary School pupils have spent several weeks undertaking special activities in the playground and woodland.
Sessions led by Wild Way Adventure included archery, fire building, orienteering, plant identification and a treasure hunt.
The children visited the Yorkshire Dales to study how watercourses helped shape both the landscape and industrial development.
Mike Burtoft, from Wild Way Adventure, said the countryside activities helped with subjects such as creative writing, mathematics and geography.
He added: “The activities sparked the children’s imaginations – there are some marvellous stories on display in the school.”
