STAFF from home-shopping giant Damart – whose warehousing facility is at Steeton – are taking part in the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k run this weekend to raise money for Age UK.
Twenty-two colleagues are tackling Sunday's event, as part of the Damart Healthy Hearts campaign.
The company has for several years held a Heart Research UK gold award for its efforts to improve the health of its employees.
Marketing and e-commerce director, Phil Anderson, said: "We always like to encourage our staff to get involved in physical activity to contribute to a healthy and active lifestyle.
"It's great to see colleagues getting involved with charity events such as the Abbey Dash and helping to raise money for such a fantastic cause."
