YOUNGSTERS at an Oakworth childminders are helping needy children across the world this Christmas.
Country Kids has collected about 20 shoeboxes packed with goodies to be distributed by the Samaritan's Purse charity, as part of Operation Christmas Child.
The boxes, which include items ranging from toys and toiletries to sweets and colouring books, have been added to a collection at Stanbury Primary School.
Emma Ibbotson, of Country Kids, said: "These lovely Christmas gifts are sent to children all over the world.
"When I asked everyone at Country Kids if this was something they would like to support the response was fantastic.
"All the children and even extended family and friends filled boxes.
"It's such a lovely thing to do and makes you realise what Christmas is all about."
The boxes were handed over to Eva Phillips, at Stanbury School.
