PARENTS at a Keighley special school are fab – and that's official!
They have launched a charity to raise funds for Beechcliffe School.
And the group – Friends At Beechcliffe (FAB) – also includes carers, grandparents and staff.
The 100-pupil school has been trying to raise £50,000 for several projects, including a new minibus and a wheelchair-accessible stage.
One parent said: "My son has been coming to the school for the past year and it has been remarkable how much his confidence has grown.
"He has taken part in music and drama activities, which have really boosted his self-esteem.
"Like many other parents, I felt I wanted to give something back and help the school with some of its fundraising activities."
Today (Dec 4) FAB is staging a winter fair at the school, at 9.30am, and is urging the community to give its support.
Chairman Vicki Street said: "We have lots of stalls and activities planned and it would be wonderful to welcome people from the local area to be a part of the event."
