MUM'S the word when it comes to computers at a Keighley school.

Nine mothers of pupils at Keighley St Andrew's CE Primary have been in the school learning about ICT.

They have successfully completed an eight-week basic community course, run with Bradford College.

Kabir Raza, a parental involvement officer at the school, said: "The class has been very successful and the tutor, Ann Eastwood, was extremely pleased with the students' hard work and commitment.

"Retention has been good, with students attending regularly."

Mr Kabir said the college would be running another class early next year for students to improve their skills, which could lead to an accredited ITQ award at Level 1.
