A KEIGHLEY organisation has arranged a baby First Aid course.

KFA Medical will run the two-hour course for new parents on February 28 at its head office.

Places are free for the first 12 people who sign up, and others can take part at a cost of £15.

KFA Medical spokesman, Thomas Brentley, said: “We feel after the birth there is no formal training that shows how to care for the baby should they become ill or injured.”

The course will be at Butterfield House in Thwaites Lane, from 10am until noon.

KFA Medical also runs courses, such as the three-day First Aid At Work, Emergency First Aid At Work, and a basic First Aid course. It also provides cover for events such as galas, football competitions, agricultural shows and Christmas lights switch-ons. The organisation’s first aiders were also on duty when the Tour de France visited Yorkshire last year.
