A KEIGHLEY filmmaker whose ‘day job’ is at Sainsbury’s has donated £125 to help disabled youngsters.

Mark Tillotson get the money to the Friends of Phoenix Special School, this year’s charity partner of Sainsbury’s supermarket in Keighley.

Sainsbury’s worker runs Lost Chapter Studios which has made several short films in the Keighley area.

Mark raised the £125 during the premiere of Lost Chapter’s film Connection at Keighley Picture House, just before last year’s Sainsbury’s Big Ride fundraiser.

Sainsbury’s staff and customers are holding several fundraising activities through the year to raise money for Phoenix School, which is in Braithwaite.

The Cavendish Street store recently donated its decorations from last Christmas to the school.

Mark and his Lost chapter studios colleagues are currently filming a drama entitled Outlasters, written by Sarah Boocock and Mark.

Outlasters follows people trying to survive in a Britain hit by an epidemic that has destroyed society and reduced survivors to living in tribes.

The lead character fends for himself in the wilderness following the disappearance of his girlfriend, and after being captured meets a female survivor.
