IT WAS lights, camera, action at a Keighley school as pupils welcomed an acclaimed film director.

Kim Noce showed her film, High Above the Sky, to year five and six youngsters at St Joseph's Primary School, Ingrow.

She then answered questions about the work, her career and other movie projects.

St Joseph's launched its own film club in 2011.

Its 15-or-so members meet every Monday to watch and review films supplied by filmclub.org.

Jenny McGuinnessa, a learning mentor and the school film club's leader, said: "The children asked Kim some very intelligent, well thought-out questions and were all thrilled to meet her.

"The visit was aimed at the whole of years five and six and not just our club members."
