A KEIGHLEY nursery has staged its annual family picnic day.
The event, at Strong Close in Airedale Road, has been hailed a huge success.
Deputy head Julie Groves said: "Attendance once again was absolutely fantastic with parents and families coming along over a lunchtime period to share sandwiches, jelly and ice cream and cakes with staff and governors.
"There was a real community atmosphere to the event, as families from the children's centre, nursery school and Pre-school Learning Alliance daycare all participated.
"Extended family members also attended so there was a mix of ages, from very young babies to grandparents.
"Luckily the weather was great so everyone was able to sit out and chat in the sun."
