BOOKSTART Bear visited a Keighley primary school to officially open its new library.
And the character joined some of the reception children at Riddlesden St Mary's to listen to a story read by teacher Deborah Ash.
The school Friends donated £500, raised through various events, to the venture.
"The library is now at the heart of the school and is well stocked with a wide variety of new and exciting books for the children to enjoy," said a school spokesman.
"Year six pupils have ensured the shelves are full and the displays look fantastic. They have done a great job.
"Parents will also be welcome to use the library, both for reading with their children and to enjoy a book themselves in our parent corner."
