A KEIGHLEY teenager has helped raise cash for a charity supporting young people with cancer.
Lydia Beckett was part of the Bradford Grammar School netball team which raised over £1,700 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
And the 15-year-old, together with fellow pupil Sally Bertrand, presented a cheque to the charity's regional fundraiser Catherine Foster.
The money was coined-in at events including a Christmas fair, online auction and fashion show.
Danielle Bloomfield, head of netball at the school, said: "The girls and the netball parents association worked very hard with staff and volunteers to make these events possible and as a result raised a huge amount of money for a great cause close to our hearts – we are very proud of them."
The Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist units in NHS hospitals and provides dedicated staff.
