A STAR Wars hero and villain came together to help raise money for Beechcliffe Special School.

Darth Vader and Chewbacca went along to Morrison supermarket in Keighley to help the Friends At Beechcliffe.

Good guy used his kindness, giving hugs to the children, whilst Darth Vader used rather more menacing tactics to ensure local people give generously.

Friends At Beechcliffe secretary Julian Maxfield said: "Morrison`s have always been great supporters of FAB and the school and this was no exception.

“They allowed these two iconic characters from Star Wars to collect on our behalf and it all nicely co-incided with the release of Star Wars sequel The Force Awakens on DVD.”

FAB raised £285 in just three hours asking people for donations in exchange for photos with the characters.

The West Yorkshire Freemasons recently gave the Friends At Beechcliffe a cheque for £4,650 to help purchase a wheelchair adapted minibus for the school.
