A GROUP of South Craven School senior students who tasted success at the Young Enterprise Craven Area Finals earlier this year have triumphed once again.

The aspiring young business men and women, who have set up a seasonal gifts company called Neutra, won Best Company at the awards in March.

They have since appeared at the North Yorkshire County Finals, where they again impressed the judges, this time picking up the Best Marketing, Sales and Customer Focus award for the second year running.

South Craven head of business studies, Roger Keyworth, said the Young Enterprise group members had been "fantastic" in the county finals, which took place in York last month. (May)

"The students were a credit to the school, beating off businesses from other schools in the area," he said.

Neutra supplies a variety of scented candles, with different scents designed to reflect different seasons.

It is run by students wanting to gain early experience of what it is like to operate a real business.

The South Craven School pupils who were part of the winning team were: Mary Strickland, Brittany Whittingham, Olivia Watthey, Nimmy Joseph, Anna Morris, Abi Horner, Chris White and Aiden Smith.
