A ROYAL-themed indoor street party at a Keighley school gave pupils and staff a chance to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.
Keighley mayor Councillor Shabir Ahmed was among the guests at the occasion at Worth Valley Primary, which was organised by staff member Lil Curr.
He helped cut a cake designed to resemble the Queen's crown, made by former pupil Anne Marie Spark.
David Weston, a volunteer gardener at the school, said: "It was a great day and the kids loved it.
"The mayor was brilliant. He stayed for an hour and spoke to the kids, telling them about his job as a bus driver. He was very approachable.
"The pupils took part in a competition to design a birthday card for the Queen, and there were lots of other activities going on.
"It was going to be an outdoor street party, but that had to be curtailed due to the rain.
"We'd like to thank local residents and other members of the public who supported the party through donations.
"We were also given money towards the event from Keighley Town Council's Acorn Fund."
