PUPILS from a Keighley school had wheel fun trying their hand at a new sport.
The Nessfield Primary youngsters were put through their paces by Bradford Bulls wheelchair rugby coach, Richard Johnson.
The session was staged in response to a plea from year five pupil and wheelchair user, Toheed Raza.
Organiser, Evolve senior health mentor Brian Padden, said: "The whole country was inspired by the GB Paralympics team.
"The athletes showed that anyone with a disability can participate in, enjoy and benefit from sport – just as much as non-disabled sportspeople.
"Toheed is a well-loved pupil at Nessfield and it was brilliant to see him given the opportunity to compete on a level playing field.
"All the children really enjoyed the afternoon, but none as much as Toheed!"
Christian Pattison, primary school officer with the Bradford Bulls Foundation, said: "It was wonderful to see the children experience something they will probably never do again."
