TEENAGERS at Parkside School delivered 15-minute lessons to students from Cullingworth and Long Lee primary schools.

And to make it harder the 16 year nine students at the Cullingworth school had to deliver their lessons in either French or Spanish.

The older students, who were taking part in the Language Leaders Award, worked in small groups to plan, prepare and deliver lessons.

The topics included numbers, weather, food, clothes, items in a pencil case, and holidays.

Modern languages teacher Emily Naylor said: “The students worked hard, at lunch and after school, to perfect their lessons and create their own resources.

“The year six students at Long Lee and Cullingworth Primary Schools really enjoyed their lessons with the Language Leaders and the staff at both schools said how impressed they were with the engaging lessons our students had produced.”
