PUPILS at a Keighley school have plenty to crow about.
Nursery children at Keighley St Andrew's CoE Primary have been learning about and celebrating the Chinese New Year – launching the Year of the Rooster.
The youngsters made dragon puppets, lucky money purses and Chinese lanterns.
They also sampled Chinese food and learned how to use chopsticks.
"They were quite good at it!" said nursery teacher Sally Sheldon.
"The children were also taught that an animal is assigned to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle and were very excited to learn that this year is the Year of the Rooster!"
