POP star Lexie landed at Parkside School in Cullingworth as part of a tour of the nation’s schools.
The upcoming singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and social media style icon, performed for the year seven and eight students.
The performance was followed by a talk on online safety, cyber bullying and discrimination, and she did a question-and-answer session and the signed autographs for students on the way out.
Anita Rafferty, the Student Support Leader for year seven, said everything ran smoothly during Lexie’s visit.
“Everyone enjoyed the performance as well as it having an impact and getting the message across in relation to the effects of mental health, and more specifically cyber bullying,” she said.
Midlands woman Lexie, real name Alex Grewcock, was 22 when she signed a deal with industry giant Island Records in 2014.
Lexie, who has a degree from Leeds Performing Arts College, was originally one half of girl band Oh My! who once toured with hit group The Saturdays.
