A CHARITY fun day at a Keighley school raised £1,431.
The event, at Holycroft Primary, featured a wide range of attractions.
There was face painting, Mehndi, a lucky dip, raffle, tombola, bouncy castle and wacky races.
Some staff members braved the wet sponge treatment.
The Holycroft Parent Friends Association (HPFA) helped stage the event and sold samosas, pizzas, home-baked cakes and buns.
Ice creams were sold by Manny's, which gave a donation plus money raised from its sales.
Proceeds from the day were split between Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and the Back Up Trust, a spinal injuries charity.
"It was a glorious day," said a school spokesman.
"Staff would like to say a massive thank-you to the volunteers of the HPFA and all parents and children who made the day a great success."
