THERE was no masking the excitement of pupils at Long Lee and Ingrow primary schools as they took part in Spanish days.
Making masks was just one of the activities enjoyed by the youngsters.
"All the children were in vibrant colours and looked amazing," said Mrs Shelley Hiles, Spanish teacher with the Ingrow & Long Lee Federation.
"The pupils had been asked to create masks to wear on the day and the quality and creativity was outstanding."
There was also a carnival-themed dance, courtesy of Cusan Theatre Productions.
And the youngsters sang a song in Spanish, tasted traditional foods and tried Salsa dancing.
"It was thoroughly enjoyable and I would like to say a very big thank-you to everyone involved," added Mrs Hiles.
