KEIGHLEY schoolchildren were put through their paces.
Youngsters from seven primary schools took part in a triathlon, organised by the Keighley Locality Achievement Partnership.
They were challenged to complete a 50-metre swim and one-mile bike ride and run half a mile.
Schools represented were Keighley St Andrew's CE Primary, Victoria, Our Lady of Victories, Holycroft, Eastwood, Parkwood and Riddlesden St Mary's.
"The aim was to bring children together – through sport – from different schools and communities in Keighley," said a spokesman.
The event was held at Keighley Leisure Centre and Victoria Park.
Oliver Barnes, inclusion manager at Keighley St Andrew's, said it had been a "great day".
He thanked British Cycling, Sustrans and the leisure centre for their support, and praised extra help provided by Play Rangers and year-seven ambassadors from University Academy Keighley.
Annesa Ansari, a 5MC pupil at Keighley St Andrew's, said: "It was exhausting but really good fun."
The winning team was from Our Lady of Victories.
