A SCHOOL has new play equipment thanks to a £500 donation from the Asda Foundation.
Pupils at Oakworth Primary have items including swing balls, skipping ropes and hula hoops for use during playtimes, as a result of the bequest.
The 470-pupil school was chosen to receive the cash by shoppers at Asda's Keighley store, who voted for the cause through the supermarket giant's green tokens scheme.
"We are delighted with the new play equipment and extremely grateful for the funding," said Samantha Layfield, the school's assistant headteacher.
So far this year, more than £3.5 million has been distributed to good causes through the Asda Foundation.
