A VILLAGE school is building links with its local Co-op store.
Steeton Primary has received various competition prizes from the Skipton Road outlet.
And shop manager Majid Mahmood has called at the school to judge contests, including Hallowe’en and Children in Need art events.
Some of the winning entries have been displayed at the store.
Also, Mr Mahmood provided prizes for a Christmas tree decoration competition.
Steeton Primary head of school, Kevin Wheeler, said: “We really appreciate the support from this local business and as a school we feel strongly about the importance of being involved in the local community.”
