STRICTLY fever has struck at a primary school.
Key Stage Two pupils at Kildwick learned the jive during weekly dance lessons.
And the venture culminated with the youngsters’ donning costumes for a Strictly Come Dancing-style final.
A three-strong judging panel was headed by Andrea Wortley, from AW School of Dance.
She said: “The standards were high, which made the judging very difficult.”
Year 5/6 winners were Millie Follows and Alfie Spicer, and in Year 3/4, Stella Osborne and Freddie Armitage.
Headteacher Tim Whitehead said the event was a huge success.
“This was the second year of the event and I think next year we will need to hire a hall and invite parents,” he added.
