PUPILS at a Keighley primary school have taken part in a drugs awareness initiative.
Eastwood Community School supported Green Star Week, which is held annually amongst Bradford-district schools.
All Eastwood's 522 pupils, and 100-plus staff, were involved in the venture.
Activities included awareness sessions led by the police and volunteers, and role play aimed at encouraging children to say 'no' to drugs.
The youngsters also wore green for a day.
Headteacher, Suzanne Carter, said the week had been a huge success.
"It is about helping the children to make healthy choices and stay safe and drug-free," she added.
One year-four pupil said: "It's been really interesting learning about how to keep ourselves safe and I feel like I could say no now."
