About 300 people have so far entered this year’s Keighley BigK 10k in aid of Manorlands.
The run and walk has become a major annual fundraising fixture on the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice’s calendar, with the last event coining in £49,000.
Mother’s Day – which this year falls on March 30 – has again been chosen as the date.
“We are ahead of where we were this time last year in terms of entries, but we are looking for more,” said Manorlands-based Sue Ryder fundraiser, Andrew Wood.
Last year’s 10k attracted more than 1,000 entrants. The event covers a multi-terrain route linking the town’s four main parks.
It sets off from Victoria Park at 9am.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt and goody bag, including a Yorkshire Water bottle, and there will be medals for winners.
Advance entry costs £12 for adults and £6 for juniors, or £50 for teams of five.
