An event showcasing past activities and people in the Scartop and Stanbury area proved a huge success.
And the ‘Down Memory Lane’ project raised £1,283 for Manorlands.
The evening, at Scartop Chapel, featured photographs from 1969 to the present day.
Organiser, Teresa Baines, said: “The chapel was full to capacity. I’d like to thank those who helped me put the presentation evening together, and everyone who attended. We are already putting together the next one.”
Friend and fellow chapel member, Kathleen Snowden, said: “Nobody wanted to go home because they were enjoying chatting to people who they’d not seen for years.”
DVDs containing the photos can still be bought by calling 01535 642915.
