A retired policeman aims to coin in the coppers for Manorlands!
Jens Hislop is offering to fly the flag from outside his Haworth home in aid of the Sue Ryder hospice.
Anyone wanting to mark a special event can ask him to hoist the Union Flag, in exchange for a minimum £5 donation.
The flagpole is in the front garden of his Mill Hey house.
“I will fly the flag from morning to dusk to celebrate any event for anyone on any day,” said Mr Hislop, right.
“I’ll collect and pass on donations.”
A board at the base of the flagpole will explain why or for whom the flag is flying. Contacted Mr Hislop on 01535 644444.
