BUFF BEAUTY Bar has been praised for its “wonderful” ideas for raising money for Manorlands.
Staff at the Cavendish Street salon recently presented the proceeds of their series of events to Manorlands fundraiser Jodie Batters.
Jodie said Tilly O’ Keefe, Liz O’Keefe and Sally Jefferson had raised £566 for the Oxenhope hospice.
She said one of their ideas had been a raffle for a gift voucher.
She added: “The beauticians also set up a photo booth where clients could pay a small fee to enter the booth and have a laugh by taking photos with props.
“The ladies took part in the Manorlands annual Starlight Hike where supporters are guided through a testing 10K walk in the dark starting and finishing in Oxenhope.
“The Buff Beauty team’s great efforts raising money for Manorlands is thoroughly appreciated and has been a huge success.”
