AN open-mic poetry event will take place on Baildon Moor this weekend.
Poetry on the Moor is the first event of its kind in Yorkshire to take place since before the pandemic. Taking place on Baildon Moor on Sunday at 1.30pm, its special guest is nine-year-old Nicolae Smith (pictured) who will read from his own story-book about having Tourette's syndrome.
Run by poet and compere Nicky J Rae, the event also features poets including Bradford's Nick Toczek as well as Harry Scrutton, Nicky Longthorne, Nabeela Ahmed, Trevor Wainwright, Paula L Horton, Bruce Barnes, Shareena Lee Satti, Tom Priestley and Irene Lofthouse. Marshalls will be at car park near Dobrudden Caravan Park to direct visitors to the performance space.
