Incommunities tenants across the district are being urged to have their say on improving homes and neighbourhoods.

A series of roadshows is being staged to give people the chance to air their views.

The Aire-Wharfe events are at Farish House, in Keighley, on August 24, and Maple Court, Bingley, on August 26, both from 10am-3pm.

Tenants will be asked for feedback on how future investment in home improvements and repair and maintenance work should be spent and what environmental work is most important to them. A repair team will attend to log any reports from tenants and arrange appointments to carry out work. It will also gather comments on the repair service and what changes could be made.

Teams from estate services will hold bulk rubbish collections to coincide with the roadshows.

And each event will also feature children’s activities, including giant outdoor games, face painting and competitions.

Also, Incommunities neighbourhood officers will visit homes to gather feedback and tenants will be invited to give their views through next month’s @home newsletter.
