A DENHOLME garden centre is collecting toys and other gifts for both children and the elderly.
The New Coley Nurseries will this year has donations to the Salvation Army and Low Fold Family Centre.
The garden centre is looking for new items or pre-owned goods that are in good condition. They should be unwrapped. Gifts for the elderly can include biscuits, hampers and woollens.
A spokesman said: “We’ve done really well in the past few years. We managed to get a gift for every child on the list last year.”
New Coley, which is on the A629 Halifax Road, will host a Santa’s grotto every weekend in December from 10am to 4pm.
