THREE Keighley-district community groups are receiving a cash boost.
Keighley Astronomical Society, Sutton Junior Football Club and Glusburn Fallfest will each be awarded £500 from the Skipton Building Society Grassroots Giving scheme.
They are among 161 organisations which won the most public votes in an online poll.
Louise Allott, Skipton Building Society's Keighley branch manager, said: "The Grassroots Giving programme is a fantastic scheme, allowing us to really delve into the heart of our local community.
"We love being able to help small, self-funded groups and give them the boost they both need and deserve.
"Typically these grassroots groups struggle to secure vital funding due to their size, and this is something we wanted to change when we launched this pioneering initiative."
Keighley Astronomical Society plans to use its funding to better interact with youth and adult interest groups.
Sutton Juniors intend buying a shelter/gazebo and Fallfest has received its grant for a First World War exhibition and display boards.
As part of the Grassroots Giving project, the building society is offering free resources to community groups.
