Play area progress in Oakworth praised

Progress made so far to develop a new play area for Holden Park in Oakworth has been welcomed by a Worth Valley councillor.
Coun Russell Brown said: “I am delighted a preferred design for a new play area for Holden Park has been selected, and that the Friends of Holden Park have submitted an application for funding to progress the scheme.
“I hope Bradford Council, the town council and other interested parties can work together to ensure the ambition for a new play area is realised as soon as possible.
“The proposals will bring many hours of fun to local children when they are built, and the sooner the better.”
