A pupil from Eastburn Junior and Infant School was one of three winners in a Christmas card design contest.
Melissa Elsworth, a year six pupil, came up with a design featuring six snowmen.
Bradford-based Hallmark Cards has now produced cards portraying the image she created. They are being used as Bradford Council’s official seasonal greetings cards.
Melissa was one of more than 20 children from her school who took part in the Winter Wonder 2012 competition, arranged by the council. Around 800 entries were received from across the Bradford district.
The entrants were asked to represent the Winter Wonder theme using drawing, painting, photography or collage.
Melissa went to Future House in Bradford recently to be presented with a certificate in recognition of her artistic effort. Her prize included a desk easel and a set of paints.
