Dozens of vehicles are expected to take part in this year’s Christmas Bronte Tractor Run.

Drivers will set off from Colin Appleyard Cars in Halifax Road, Keighley, at 10am on Sunday, December 30. The convoy will follow a route around Keighley and the Worth Valley, calling at the Grouse pub, Oldfield, for coffee and mince pies.

The run will culminate with a collection in Haworth Main Street and lunch at the village’s Bronte Hotel, where there will also be a raffle and auction.

Vehicles taking part include a bus which people can board at the Bronte Hotel car park to depart at 9.15am and head for Appleyards.

The event is raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Stanley Turner, one of the organisers, said: “We’re hoping for a good turnout. We’ve had tractors, Land Rovers, Jeeps, motorbikes and wagons taking part before. Anyone is welcome to come along.”
