Sunday: Today’s service, at Exley Head Methodist Church will be a joint service with Oakworth, starting at 10.30am and led by the Rev Alan Raine.

Monday: An Ofsted-inspected playgroup operates every day, Monday to Friday in the room below the Exley Head Methodist Church, from 9.15-11.45am, during term time only.

A coffee morning takes place at Exley Head Church, on Wheathead Lane. Fairtrade refreshments will be served on Wednesday mornings, between 10.30am and noon. There is usually a second-hand book stall.

Fitness and fun exercise through movement and dance to improve your stamina, strength and suppleness. Classes held every Wednesday evening from 7-8pm at Exley Head Methodist Church. For more details contact Janet on (01535) 663681.

Thursday: Starlight Stompers line dancing classes are held at Exley Head Methodist Church on Thursday evenings. Classes are as follows: Beginners/intermediates from 6.30-7.30pm, price £1.50; intermediates/ advanced from 7.30-9.30pm, price £3. The beginners’ class runs from 5.30-6.30pm, cost is only £1.50 and everyone is welcome to come along and learn the basic steps.
