Two people appeared in court this morning charged with wounding following an incident on Christmas Day in which a 64-year-old Keighley man received serious head injuries.
Sidney Bond was discovered collapsed on the ground in front of a block of flats in Spring Row, off South Street, at 6.20pm that day.
He remains in a critical but stable condition in Leeds General Infirmary.
Ashley Whyte, 22, and Lee Snowden, 23, both of Keighley, were arrested on Friday and charged last night with Section 18 wounding.
They appeared before Bradford and Keighley magistrates today and were remanded in custody to Bradford Crown Court on January 7.
Three other people - two men aged 51 and 46 and a 38-year-old woman, all from Keighley - who were arrested shortly after the incident, are currently on police bail.
