New Year baby joy for proud parents
An Oakworth couple had a dream start to 2013 with the arrival of their first child.
Leonardo Adams was the first baby to be born at Airedale Hospital on New Year’s Day. He arrived at 2.14am weighing in at 7lb 10oz.
Proud parents Olesya, 29, and Gary Adams, 44, pictured above with their son, had been waiting patiently since his due date on December 27.
Mr Adams said: “It was a case of waiting over Christmas – we had no idea he’d be born on New Year’s Day. It definitely makes it even more special.”
Four babies were born in all at Airedale on New Year’s Day.
