Melissa Murphy – head of family law at Turner & Wall Solicitors in Keighley – cycled the length of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal towpath to support a vital lifeline for the homeless.
Her 127-mile sponsored ride coined in more than £900 for the soup kitchen at St Joseph’s Church in Bradford.
She said: “Despite the bruises, aching muscles and mud, it was all worth it!”
Father John Newman, from the church, said he was thrilled with the donation.
